You’ve all heard of Boxing Day, right? The British holiday celebrated on December 26th? It’s got a pretty interesting (if hazy) backstory. While it isn’t an official holiday in the US, I hope you’ll have the day off to rest, relax, and take stock of…whatever needs stock-taking in your life. And if you have to be back at work (like me) I hope it’s a quiet day and you can sneak out early.
Either way, I say we all take the week before the new year to relax, and pamper ourselves a little. And maybe also take the opportunity to say thank you to those who have made the year a little brighter.
